Aiming to preserve native plants alongside more traditional garden elements, Dothan Area Botanical Garden shows untouched woodlands alongside cultivated flora for a unique natural experience. Fifty acres of land feature a paved nature trail meandering through a rose garden, herbs, daylilies, camellias, azaleas, a pond, a Victorian gazebo and a demonstration garden. The gardens are set five miles north of Dothan in the southeast corner of the state.
Open daily Summer: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Winter: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
